COMMUNITY

As a law firm, we understand that we have a duty to help people.  We understand that we have certain skills and powers that allow us to positively affect lives.  We understand that these gifts in intellect and persuasion must be also used to better our community and its children.  Ergo, we give back to our community in many ways.

We start with setting a positive example and sharing our passion and experiences with students of all ages.  We lecture at elementary schools, high schools, colleges, business paralegal schools, secretarial schools and law schools.  We offer internships to students of all ages and backgrounds, ranging from high school students to law school graduates. Each year, we donate a full 4-year scholarship for a student to pursue an undergraduate degree at college, and we also donate to several other community related organizations that assist those that cannot help themselves.

We have presented postgraduate scholarships to economically disadvantaged students to attend Syracuse University College of Law. We actively participate in promoting the research efforts of educational institutions—this year we donated monies to advance research to find a cure for Parkinson’s disease and neurological disorders in children to Columbia University Medical Centre.

Officially, our charity's name is Building Foundations Inc., which is incorporated as a Not-for-Profit under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.  But we know that all of the formal stuff only matters when we make dreams come true, assist our children in reaching their potential, and motivate them to go after their dreams.
